We back the companies that make people feel something.

01 — Thesis

One reaction, unlimited sources

Pre-seed → Series A

Frisson is not a sector. It's a reaction. It happens in emerging technology as readily as in a distillery or a stadium. We invest by response and the emerging trends that bring people and communities together, not by category: software and AI, spirits and drinks, sports and wellness, consumer goods, cultural movements, and whatever comes next that makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up.

The test

Excitement, past the hype

We look for the thing people want in on before anyone has pitched them. If a product only lands once it has been explained, the excitement was never really there — and no amount of capital puts it back.

The range

Category is a coincidence

A model that does something nobody expected. A mezcal worth opening for people you like. A league that gets a city out of the house on a Tuesday. Different industries, the same pull — so we refuse to pick one lane.

The role

Early, and close

We write first cheques and follow on. Small portfolio by design, so founders get real hours: brand, market entry, distribution, the first ten hires — the unglamorous work that turns a moment into a company.
